Tan Tock Seng Hospital

Established in 1844, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) is Singapore’s second largest acute-care hospital, with 1,400 beds.

With strengths in geriatric medicine, infectious disease management, rehabilitation medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, allergy, and immunology, TTSH is also a major referral center for diagnostic radiology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, and orthopedic surgery.

Other specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, geriatric medicine, medical oncology (through its on-site Johns Hopkins clinic), and urology. Specialty centers include Complementary and Integrative Medicine Centre, Dental Clinic, Health Enrichment Centre, Centre (CDC), Johns Hopkins International Medical Centre, Pain Management Clinic, Sports Medicine and Surgery Centre and The Breast Clinic.

Two major specialty centers (one in rehabilitation medicine and communicable diseases and the other in research on treatments for emerging diseases) round out Tan Tock Seng's clinical offerings.

The TTHS International Patient Liaison Centre assists with appointment bookings, consultations with doctors and surgeons, translation services, hotel accommodations, visa applications and extensions if needed and bill and claims resolutions.

TTSH received its initial JCI accreditation in 2005 and was most recently reaccredited in 2014.
