CMC is the largest medical network in the country, with eight affiliated hospitals and the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, for a total of around 5,000 beds attended by 1,200 physicians, 900 residents, and 250 interns.

As part of its commitment to top-notch care, CMC sends 35–40 doctors annually to renowned universities in the US, Canada, Germany, and Japan to pursue further studies, conduct research, and build clinical collaborations. CMC also strives to advance the medical sciences and find cures for disease through its nine research institutes.

CMC’s newest member, Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, opened in 2009. St Mary's is the single largest hospital in Korea, with 2,000 beds, 25 specialty departments and six core centers: a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Center, Cancer Center, Organ Transplantation Center, Cardiovascular Center, Women’s Cancer Center, and Eye Center. The facility’s state-of-the-art technology includes MRI, PET-CT, and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) CT as well as an angiography unit, TomoTherapy Hi-Art System, x-ray therapy unit, magnetic navigation surgery system, and CyberKnife robotic surgery system.
