KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital (DSH) was built under the flagship of the KPJ Healthcare Bhd, the largest healthcare group in the region, with 19 medical centers in Malaysia, and two in Indonesia

DSH is conveniently located in an upscale area of Kuala Lumpur that has become a center for expatriates and young urban executives. The 158-bed hospital offers an array of centers of excellence focusing on severe obesity, oncology, health promotion and wellness, neurosurgery, orthopedics and joint replacement, ophthalmology, and cardiac medicine.

KPJ Damansara offers extensive diagnostic and therapeutic resources, such as endoscopic suites, hemodialysis centers, cardiac catheterization, and magnetic resonance imaging facilities. DSH medical specialists hold international qualifications and are supported by well-trained paramedical staff.

In 2006, KPJ Damansara opened an obesity specialty center, the first of its kind in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, dedicated to helping seriously obese patients through surgical and nonsurgical procedures.

The hospital's Premier Screening and Wellness Center offers a comprehensive array of health assessment packages that can be tailored to meet individual needs for protecting, promoting, and maintaining overall health and well-being. Health assessment packages include basic and premier general executive screenings as well as Premier Well Man and Well Woman Heart Screening packages, all conducted by professional wellness experts who ensure treatment is provided in a setting of confidence, personalized attention, and privacy.

Now I feel more energetic, more alert and very much lighter. I am very happy with my decision to overcome obesity, and I am looking forward to the next phase of my life, which I hope will be much better. ―Devan, Malaysia
