A tertiary- and acute-care hospital and one of Korea's largest, the 804-bed Inha University Hospital boasts 450 physicians and surgeons and 2,000 additional staff. Its nine specialty centers offer specialized medical examinations and treatments, including the high-quality, affordable, personalized health screenings that have garnered Inha an international reputation.

Near Incheon International Airport, Inha is easily accessible by cross-border patients. Inha’s Centers of Excellence include:

Cancer Center
The center is staffed by experts in a variety of disciplines, is equipped with multi-channel CT,PET, and CyberKnife, and boasts a prestigious Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit. Its innovative treatments include donor mesenchymal stem cells (engineered through a unique culturing method invented by the BMT team) for life-threatening refractory graft-versus-host disease; tandem autologous and allogeneic BMT for selected blood cancers; and bone marrow transplants to effect cures for multiple myelomas considered incurable by conventional methods. Inha's recently opened Women's Cancer Center treats most conditions, including breast, ovarian, thyroid and uterine cancer.

Digestive Disease Center
The center has a team of 15 doctors and 15 nurses. The latest NBI system (Olympus Evis Lucera 260) is used for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy; for small bowel lesions difficult to diagnose by conventional endoscopy, capsule endoscopy (MiroCam) is employed. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and the newest ultrasound system (Aloka ProSound Alpha 10) enable sophisticated diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary disease. Gastrointestinal tests include manometry, 24-hour pH monitoring, and biofeedback, and interventions include stent insertion.

Health Promotion Center
Patients can choose from pre-designed screening packages or from a checklist of more than 100 items in consultation with a coordinator for an individually customized examination. Screening takes only about two and a half hours, unless overnight sleep observation is conducted. Airport pickup service and an overnight stay in a private room are provided for international patients, who visit the center from 17 countries.

Opened in 2009, Inha's International Healthcare Center assigns each medical traveler a healthcare coordinator who handles travel and clinical tasks, including coordinating of consultations and appointments, transfer of medical records, assistance with Korea visa application (if required), airport pickup and dropoff, and assistance with financial arrangements for self-pay patients.

Inha received its initial JCI accreditation in 2010 and was re-accredited in 2013.
