A team-based, collaborative approach to treatment is paramount for Beacon’s multidisciplinary doctors and surgeons, best known for their expertise in oncology, CyberKnife radiosurgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and PET/CT scanning. Beacon’s team of oncologists were trained in the United Kingdom and United States.

The facility has treated more than 10,000 cancer patients and approximately 1000 Cyberknife cases since the hospital opened its doors.

Beacon’s preliminary second medical opinion service is offered free of charge to international patients. Patients are provided advice on what is considered the best option for treatment. Beacon commonly treats brain, spine, breast, lung, colorectal and NPC (throat and nose) cancer.

Estimated pricing is available prior to all treatments. A PET/CT scan package includes the scan, reports, and refreshment after the scan.

For radiotherapy, all-inclusive package includes treatment planning, doctor’s procedure fees and weekly treatment review at completion of treatment review.

Beacon has recently expanded its services to include neurosurgery, ophthalmology and orthopedics.

Beacon reviews approximately 200 international patients annually. Most come from Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, Iran, Singapore, and the UK. Most staff speaks English, and translators are available for Indonesian, Persian, Hokkien, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil upon request before arrival. Beacon assists international patients with arrangements for accommodations and transportation.
