Guatamela Dental Team is a third generation family owned and operated clinic that opened its doors in 1987.
A team of four specialists offers patients a wide selection of dental services, ranging from general dentistry to implants, in addition to cosmetic and restorative dentistry and orthodontics. Three of the four specialists are wholly or partly US trained, and all four speak both Spanish and English.
An in-house dental laboratory allows the team to work faster; complete dental treatments can be done in a week or less. Guatemala Dental Team uses materials commonly inventoried in US and European facilities, including porcelain veneers and all-white zirconium and e.max crowns.
Guatemala Dental Team is located near Antigua, Guatemala, a colonial city founded in the sixteenth century and one of Guatemala's best-known tourist towns. Museums, art galleries and movie theaters are located less than fifteen minutes away, with easy access to convenience stores, entertainment, and banking facilities.
Guatemala Dental Team offers “pain free dentistry:” where a patient’s medical history allows it, the specialists will prescribe appropriate medicine or even intravenous sedation to help patients relax.
International services include transportation, hotel reservations, personalized tours, and tourism recommendations. Costs for typical treatments are posted on the Guatemala Dental Team website.
The clinic is affiliated with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
