It’s been nearly a year since I posted on these pages, which roughly coincides with the time it took the editorial team and I to research and revise the Patients Beyond Borders Third Edition. I’m happy to report the book is at last nearly complete, was in fact announced just last week. We are pleased with the final product, representing nearly ten years of research and experience since we began work on the first edition. I am deeply grateful to all who participated in the creation of this new title.
So now, back to work.
These days, we’re all usually far too busy for extended non-essential reading. With that in mind I’m planning to use our blog pages to post useful snippets of less than 500 words that serve to update you on a current event in our sector, or a personal experience worth sharing, toward lending perspective to our ever-evolving sector. Brief is the operative here, somewhere between a 146 character tweet and a 146 word blog (think “twog” or “bleet!”).
We’ll crank up again next week and hope to post at least a couple times a month, sprinkled with guest visits along the way.
We always welcome your comments and hope to soon see you on these pages!
